Mayuyu’s 2shot guide: Part 2 [FINAL]
Hey guys, Mayuyu here… yet again!
Today is the BIG DAY! The first day of 2shot applications… so here’s the most important part of my guide… the application process!
It’s not hard, really… but there are a lot of people who have doubts, questions or confusion about some things, so I’ll do my best to answer all of that for you if you do! If you have further questions I’ll try reply to stuff in the chatbox on the right hand side over here… *points over to the side* —>
First of all, I assume you’ve registered with Chara-Ani’s 48G portal and have an address in Japan you can mail stuff to set in your Chara-Ani. If not then please go do so, you can see my guide for information on this over here!
If you’re ready, then let’s carry on…
Now, go log in to your account, once you’re in hit that big pink button at the top of the page!
Once you’re in there it’s yet another pile of terms and conditions, all they basically say is that Aki-P is god and that you’re happy to give all of your money to him, and a few other things… trivial stuff… just things like he now owns your soul and stuff. You want to agree to this anyway, so tick the little check box and hit the pink button to continue on your journey.
Now that we’re in you’ll see a list of members and slots. The important thing here is the drop down menu, this is where you select the date for the 2shot and the teams you want to see members for.
So let’s say you want to go for Mayuyu at the Tokyo Big Sight on the 30th of May… You want to scroll down to “5/30 – Team B”, after clicking on that you need to his the little pink refresh button. Notice how pink buttons are becoming the important ones – remember this.
After that you need to find the member you want and pick a slot, the slots will be numbered 1 through to 8 and will be the last number you see in the information next to their name, the full information is as follows:
Date (Day), Location, Member name, Slot.
Select the drop down for the member you want, with the slot you want and click on the “1”, in round 1 this is the limit for that member in that slot, you can pick her in another slot though. You can also pick other members for that same slot (though be careful with your timing).
Note, you can have multiple members in the same slot, the only thing to consider is you have to line up for the first 2shot with a member, have that 2shot then go line up for the 2nd member before the deadline when the line “closes”. See the times below:
Some info on slots:
Slot 1: 09:00 – 10:30 (You must be in line by 10:00)
Slot 2: 10:30 – 12:00 (You must be in line by 11:30)
Slot 3: 12:00 – 13:30 (You must be in line by 13:00)
Slot 4: 13:30 – 15:00 (You must be in line by 14:30)
Slot 5: 15:00 – 16:30 (You must be in line by 16:00)
Slot 6: 16:30 – 18:00 (You must be in line by 17:30)
Slot 7: 18:30 – 20:00 (You must be in line by 19:30)
Slot 8: 20:00 – 21:30 (You must be in line by 21:00)
Also note you can apply for the same member in different slots. So if you wanted you could have 5 applications for Mayuyu in 5 different slots in round 1. You may also apply for 5 different members in 5 different slots. Or even 5 different members in the same slot (but don’t do this, you won’t have enough time!!!)
Once you’ve selected the member and the slot you want to apply for, hit the pink button.
After that you’ll be taken to a page which shows a summary of selected members and slots, here you have two options, the green button takes you back to the selection page (if you want to change it or add more members or whatever), and the pink one will take you to the confirmation screen.
Remember green to go back.
Pink to submit!
If you’re happy with the summary shown on the confirmation screen – that means you have all the member applications you want for this round – click the pink button again (Green is cancel/go back – it’s so tempting to hit green as a “ok” or “go” button!), once you do that it will tell you that the applications have been submitted and you can view a summary of them on the application history page (the pink link) and that they will email you if successful or not. [Update 1: Please note you only pay for albums if you are successful in the 2shot lottery. If you apply for 10 but only win 5, then you only pay for 5!]
If we go ahead and look at the application page, you can see the applications you have made and there is a pink cancel button (I don’t know how this works – I assume you can reselect other members if you cancel one… but I’ve not tried it and I don’t plan on doing so).
[Update #2: Thanks to inubazh11 for the information, when you press the cancel button it will cancel ALL applications and leave a mess in your history]
Also I’ve included some of my history to show what a successful and a failed application look like.
I hope this covers everything! If you have any questions throw them in the chatbox on the site to the right hand side and I’ll do my best to help!
Hopefully see you all there!
