Request Hour voting guide
There were some request for a guide on how to vote for request hour and since I was planning to vote anyway, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to vote.
If you’re reading this, I’m assuming you have a voting slip (that contains the voting number) with you. If not you can always get it by buying AKB48’s “Kibouteki Refrain” single (CDJapan links: Regular A, Regular B, Regular C, Regular D) or even buy just the voting slips on ebay or other people who are selling them.
Take note that the voting ends at 22nd December 2014 (3pm Japan time).
If you have a voting slip, it should look like this.
The serial number is important as it will be used for the voting. Hence the blurriness (don’t you steal my vote yo).
Now, head to on http://akb48-request2015.jp to vote for the AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 1035 (this is getting more ridiculous, next year will be Best 2000 I guess).
If my screencap looks different to you, that’s because I went to the mobile version of the site on my phone (which, to be honest, looks better). But basically you’re met with 2 choices. First one if you want to vote for a song by looking up the title. Second one if you want to choose the song by looking at the singles or stage songs from different teams.
For first choice, it’s great if you already have a song in mind. Like, for example you want to vote for “Mae Shika Mukanee” just type in “前しか向かねえ”
or look up “ま” from the list.
And the song should be there. The second choice is more convenient if you’re not sure on which song to vote for and want to browse it by group.
If you get this screen that means your vote is counted! The top link is for you to answer a survey and the second link to go back to the main page. I suggest for you to answer the survey and I have helped out to translate the gist of the questions. Why do I encourage you to answer the survey? That’s because they will give a bonus photo after you answer it! Here’s mine, and have fun voting and answering the survey!
